Are you ready to start your acroyoga journey? :)
This series of 14 classes will teach you the basics in a safe and fun environment. We will cover the foundations of acroyoga so you can start basing, flying and spotting :)
You can join for the full series, book a 7-class-pass or drop-in tickets (see below).
Acroyoga is a beautiful mix of yoga, acrobatics and Thai massage techniques that helps you expand your body and your mind. In this course, we will be focusing on L-basing which typically involves a base balancing a flyer on feet or hands and a spotter to keep everyone safe.
Classes are 90 minutes long (19:00-20:30) and take place at Loquaiplatz 11/1C in 1060 Vienna (entrance at the corner to Worellstraße).
Class dates (FRIDAYS, 18:30-20:00)
January: 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
February: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
March: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
April: 4th, 11th
You don't need a partner to join! In this class, we will work together in varying teams so while you are very welcome to come with a friend it is not necessary to be paired up in advance.
Places are limited to guarantee a personal and guided experience.
What can you expect?
Each class includes a warm up, introduction of new postures, time to revisit and practice previous ones and explanations on how to link them in flows.
There will also be an optional WhatsApp group to share questions and get feedback about your practice during the week.
Energy exchange:
295€ for 14 classes (21€/class)
165€ for 7 classes (first half or second half) (23€/class)
26€ drop-in (single class)
We believe lack of money should not keep you from doing the things you love. If you're struggling financially but really want to learn acroyoga, contact us and we will find a way so you can join.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions with an email to acroyoga.vienna@gmail.com - but maybe they are already answered in the FAQs below :)
We're looking forward to getting to know you and move together!
Love,
Hannah & Alexis
Q: I don’t have any sport background/ I think I am too short/light to base or too tall/heavy to fly - Can I do acroyoga?
A: Yes. We aim to make acroyoga accessible to everybody. With the right technique a lot more is possible than you might think and with spotters you can always try something out in a safe environment. We encourage you to come and try, acroyoga is for everybody and every body!
Q: I cannot make it to the whole series. Can I catch up on some of the missed classes?
A: Yes. If we know about the absence beforehand, you can take up another of the drop-in classes (60 minutes) that we offer (Handstands, Acroyoga Open Level etc) in exchange for the missed class. Please tell us which class you want to take as follow-up so we can tell you if there is space.
Important: you can’t take up the missed class in the next class series. Please make sure to use up your “left-over class” in the same course cycle.
