Yogic Flight: A 50 hour training in Acroyoga, Inversions & Partneryoga

How to integrate Acroyoga, partner yoga and playfulness into your practice & teaching

This 50-hour immersive training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to incorporate Acroyoga, inversions and their transformative elements—playfulness, connection, and community building—into your personal practice, and also workshops, retreats, and classes (for yoga teachers). By the end of this training, you will have expanded your teaching portfolio, have a range of new tools to foster a sense of community among students, and open new avenues for creative exploration in your yoga asana and partner practice.

It is also open to those who may not be certified or working as yoga teachers but have a strong interest in deepening their practice. You do not need prior experience with Acroyoga or inversions; however, a willingness to learn, explore, and engage with partner work is essential.

The program centers around the three practices of acroyoga, inversions and partneryoga. No prior experience or partner needed! If you already have some experience, we will help you refine and strengthen your foundations and give you the tools to confidently guide others.

The training is certified by Yoga Alliance as YACEP (Continued Education).

Your teachers: Hannah & Alexis Valenzuela

Hannah from Vienna and Alexis from Brussels - we met while traveling and fell in love through acroyoga. What connects us is a deep interest in yoga, self-development and the fun of being upside down, whether on our own hands or on a partner :)

In April 2024, we opened Vienna’s first Acroyoga Studio after teaching hundreds of classes in parks and different locations.

Yoga has been our primary self-practice for many years (8 years for Alexis, 15 years for Hannah). We love strong, sweaty flows that include inversions and armbalances as well as restorative yoga that allows you to listen within. We both are RYT-500 (500 hours certified yoga teachers), having completed trainings in Vinyasa Flow, Rocket Yoga and Yin. Alexis is also a certified PartnerAcrobatics teacher (175hrs, 2022).

Our specialty as asana teachers and in our studio are inversions - having learned handstand, forearm stand and headstand as adults, we have developed a deep understand of which drills and exercises work well and are excited to show you how you can break through the barriers and fears of going upside down.

Yoga is an amazing introspective practice and we treasure the time alone on our mat. However, we also believe that life is all about connection and this is where acroyoga comes in. For us, it’s a unique and powerful way of getting to know yourself and others, expanding your ideas of what’s possible and create a lot of laughter & lightness.

We started teaching acroyoga in Vienna in 2022 with two small groups of students and have expanded this to opening our own studio, running 12 weekly classes and having taught over 1000 students in just three years. We love creating spaces and events that bring people together and want to share our experience in this training.
