Dear Acroyogi*nis,

This course is the continuation of our beginner series - the bridge between acroyoga newbies and our intermediate course. We will teach you to refine your basics, add new poses and link them into fun flows. You can join for the full series, book a 6-class-pass or drop-in tickets (see below).

It is perfect for you if you've already had 8-12 acroyoga lessons (or equivalent experience), know basic static postures as well as first transitions and are curious to further explore the world of flows and washing machines.

Classes are 90 minutes long (19:00-20:30) and take place in our studio @loquaiplatz 11/1C, 1060 Wien.

Check out the pre-requisites below and contact us if you have any questions about the level.

12 Class dates (each Monday from 19:00-20:30)

September 23 - December 9

  • you have tried star and can do it with a spotter

You don't need a partner to join! In this class, we will work together in varying teams so while you are very welcome to come as a couple it is not necessary to be paired up in advance.

Each class includes a good warm up, introduction of new postures, time to revisit and practice previous ones and explanations on how to link them in flows.

There will also be an optional WhatsApp group to share questions and get feedback about your practice during the week.

Places for the course are limited to guarantee a personal and guided experience.

Energy exchange:

  • 240€ for 12 classes (20€/class)

  • 140€ for 6 classes (first half or second half) (23€/class)

  • 25€ drop-in (single class)

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions with an email to acroyoga.vienna@gmail.com, but maybe some of your questions are answered below in our FAQ section :)

We're looking forward to getting to know you and move together!

Love,

Hannah & Alexis

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do I need a partner to join?

A: In this class, we will work together in varying teams so while you are very welcome to come as a couple it is not necessary to be paired up in advance.

Q: I have a partner and I want to only train with my partner. Is this possible?

A: Yes, however you will need to team up with at least a third person for spotting and do acroyoga with this person. Alternatively you can team up in a team of 4 people, and then you would only need to spot the other 2 people. You can always choose to stay with your partner when we suggest to mix up groups.

Q: I cannot make it to the whole series. Can I catch up some of the missed classes?

A: Yes. If we know about the absence beforehand, you can take up other classes we offer (Handstands, Acroyoga Open Level, Strength & Flexibility, etc.) in exchange for the missed class. Please tell us which class you want to take as follow-up so we can tell you if there is space.

Important: you can’t take up the missed class in the next class series. Please make sure to use up your “left-over class” in the same course cycle.

Q: I don’t have any sport background. Can I do acroyoga?

A: Yes. We aim to make acroyoga accessible to everybody. With the right technique a lot more is possible than you might think and with spotters you can always try something out in a safe environment. We encourage you to come and try, acroyoga is for everybody and every body!

Q: Can I join level 2 classes (beginner plus) without any acroyoga experience?

A: No, you should at least be able to do the poses we describe in the pre-requisites for the course. We have a Beginner Course in the same cycle, you could join sessions there (for example the 2nd half if you already have some experience).

This applies for all levels. If you have any doubts about your level please don’t hesitate to contact us. And if you want to level up faster we are available for private courses :)
