Are you ready to take your armbalances to the next level? Learn how to enter and exit your armbalances in a more creative and dynamic way: floating in and linking them with other asanas.
In this 2-hour workshop we will break down and work on funky transitions to and from poses such as (one-legged) crow, Eka Pada Koundinyasana (flying splits), handstand, forearm armbalance variations, headstand to armbalance transitions and more.
Hannah & Alexis from Acroyoga Vienna will guide you during this workshop. We will warm-up properly with a fiery yoga flow and then work specifically on your wrist strength and flexibility as well as compression drills for core strength and visualization techniques to help you in transitions.
Above all, we hope to pass on our joy for exploring armbalances and give you a few fun new things to try out :)
Pre-reqs: to enjoy this workshop more, you should be familiar with crow pose & comfortable in chaturanga (holding it, pushing up and back). Experience with headstand and/or handstand is a plus, though not necessary. If you have any doubts whether this workshop is for you, send us a message to acroyoga.vienna@gmail.com. We also offer an "Intro to Armbalance" workshop on June 29th from 10-12.
Looking forward to armbalance together,
Hannah & Alexis
